22 Surveys to Make Money on Cash App

The bad news is that you almost certainly can’t get paid straight to Cash App by taking online surveys. We have tested many survey sites and apps, and we’ve never had the option to withdraw our earnings via Cash App—at least not directly.

However, the good news is that it’s usually easy to move your earnings to Cash App; most survey platforms offer payment methods that make it pretty simple to do this.

Survey apps and websites usually offer at least two or three of the following cash payment options:

• Bank transfer
• PayPal
• Venmo
• Virtual prepaid Mastercard or Visa card
• Physical prepaid Mastercard or Visa card*

*These are a less common option than virtual cards, and they may come with fees.

Some survey platforms will be more suitable than others for transferring your earnings to Cash App. Read on to find out about the best survey platforms for this purpose.

1. Branded Surveys

Like many platforms on this list, Branded Surveys offers ways to get paid with surveys and daily polls. It’s a no-frills affair that you can use via a web-based version for browsers or dedicated mobile apps (for either iOS devices—meaning iPhones or iPads—or Android devices).

Many users claim Branded Surveys is currently one of their favorite survey-focused platforms. While you won’t get rich taking their surveys and polls, it’s a good way to kill time and earn some “free” money. As a cherry on top, you’ll get a small bonus after you complete your first survey.

Although we didn’t earn a bomb with this platform when we tested it, the threshold for cashing out is pretty low at $5, with a $1 signup bonus to get you started. This means it shouldn’t take you too long to reach the finish line and get those earnings into your Cash App account.

Branded Surveys has cash withdrawals via the same methods Survey Junkie offers, namely prepaid debit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal.

As such, you can use the same strategies we’re already described to credit your Cash App balance.

• Prepaid Visa cards: This withdrawal method makes it very easy to get Cash App credit. You should be able to simply link the Visa card to your Cash App directly and transfer your Branded Surveys earnings to Cash App.
• Bank transfers: Bank transfers are another easy option for getting your money as Cash App credit. Once you receive your Branded Surveys earnings in your normal bank account, you can directly transfer the money to Cash App.
• PayPal (if you have a PayPal debit card): As mentioned, a PayPal debit card automatically takes money from your PayPal account. This means you can link your PayPal debit card to your Cash App account and directly transfer money from the card to the Cash App account (without first manually moving it from your PayPal balance to your debit card).
• PayPal (if you don’t have a PayPal debit card): If, for some reason, you can’t or don’t want to redeem your Survey Junkie rewards via other methods, you can use the two-step process we’ve already described to transfer your money from your PayPal account to your Cash App account via a bank account linked to both digital wallets.

2. Prime Opinion

Prime Opinion is another simple, survey-focused platform. We like that you can get extra bonus rewards when you sign up, plus a few more if you refer friends to use the platform.

Although there are a few complaints from users about being banned from the platform for no apparent reason, recently, most claim they have no issues using and earning money on it.

Prime Opinion is available as a website that you can access via your browser or as an app for mobile devices (of both Android and iOS varieties).

How to get paid to Cash App

Prime Opinion offers a wide variety of cash withdrawal options, including all of the withdrawal methods we’ve seen on this list so far.

You can use these withdrawal methods as follows to get Cash App credit:

• Bank transfer: Link your bank account to Cash App, if you haven’t already done so, and transfer your Prime Opinion earnings directly from the bank account to Cash App.
• Virtual prepaid cards: Link your prepaid card to your Cash App, and transfer your earnings from the card to your Cash App.
• PayPal: Link a bank account to both your PayPal and Cash App accounts (if you haven’t already done so), and transfer your Prime Opinion earnings to your Cash App via the bank account. If you have a dedicated PayPal debit card, use this to transfer your earnings directly from your PayPal to Cash App in one step.
• Venmo: As with PayPal, link a bank account to both digital wallets (Venmo and Cash App), if you haven’t already done so, and transfer your Prime Opinion earnings from Venmo to Cash App via the same two-step process described above. If you have a Venmo debit card, you can use it to transfer your earnings from Venmo to Cash App in one go.

3. Google Opinion Rewards

Google Opinion Rewards is Google’s own survey app, and it pays users in cash or Google Play credit for sharing their opinions. This platform has no web-based version for internet browsers, so you can only use it on mobile devices (both iOS and Android devices).

While researching user reviews, a complaint that cropped up a few times is that there sometimes aren’t a lot of surveys available. That said, most users still seem to enjoy using the platform, saying it lets them earn decent pocket money. It also has a fairly low withdraw minimum, so you can get your earnings quickly.

According to Google Opinion Rewards’ App Store blurb, surveys usually take around 20 seconds. In our experience with many different survey platforms, surveys usually take at least a few minutes or more to complete (or at least a minute or two to get disqualified from). As such, we would be surprised if you can find many surveys on this platform that require less than a minute to complete.

You may also find some additional non-survey tasks on this app. For example, the Google Opinion Rewards help page says that there’s a new receipt-scanning feature in the Android app (for uploading your receipts from in-store purchases to receive additional rewards).

How to get paid to Cash App

You can get cash payments from Google Opinion Rewards via PayPal if you’re using an iOS device. (If you’re using Android, you can unfortunately only get paid via Google Play credits, meaning there’s no way to turn your earnings into Cash App rewards.)

You can then use the same methods we’ve already described to move your earnings to Cash App, either via a bank account linked to your PayPal and Cash App accounts (using a two-step process) or by linking a PayPal debit card (if you have one) to your Cash App account and transferring your money directly from PayPal to Cash App that way.

4. Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie is a popular platform for earning with surveys as well as with focus groups and a couple of other features. It claims to have 11 million members, and you can use it via your internet browser or by downloading a dedicated app (available for Android devices or iOS devices—namely, iPhones and iPads), meaning it’s easy to take surveys on the go.

Survey Junkie also offers ways to make a bit extra via its browser extension and app, which you can download and activate to collect points automatically as you browse online (with the “Surf to Earn” scheme). This means you can also use it as a passive income app.

Note that focus groups won’t be available immediately. Survey Junkie may reach out to you about them after you’ve used the platform for a while.

However, Survey Junkie doesn’t specify exactly how long it might take for such opportunities to materialize or which other boxes you’ll need to tick to get invited (and we weren’t invited to participate in any focus groups during the several hours we spent using the platform over several days).

How to get paid to Cash App

Like the other platforms on this list, Survey Junkie doesn’t have an option to withdraw via Cash App directly. However, you can easily move your Survey Junkie earnings to your Cash App account.

It will be easiest to get your money into your Cash App account if you withdraw Survey Junkie earnings via a virtual prepaid card or a bank transfer. With most prepaid cards, you can simply add the card to your Cash App to use for purchases, bill payments, or sending money to friends.

Alternatively, if you opt to receive your Survey Junkie earnings by bank transfer, you can link your bank account to your Cash App—if you haven’t already done so—and move your earnings from your bank account to your Cash App balance.

Survey Junkie may allow you to get your survey earnings instantly if you redeem via PayPal. However, moving the money to Cash App will probably be a bit awkward, as you’ll usually need to move it to your bank account before you can move it to Cash App, meaning there’s a two-step process involved, and you’ll have to link a bank account to both your Cash App and PayPal accounts, if you haven’t already done so.

Transferring from PayPal will be easier if you have a PayPal debit card, which automatically takes money from your PayPal account. In this case, you can link your PayPal debit card to your Cash App account and directly transfer money from the debit card to the Cash App account (without first manually moving it from your PayPal balance to your bank account or debit card).

5. InboxDollars

InboxDollars is a prolific name in the survey world. However, it’s more than just a survey platform, as it offers a variety of quick and easy tasks you can complete to earn money, including games, offer signups, receipt-scanning, online searches, and more.

Completing these types of small tasks is sometimes described as microtasking, and platforms like InboxDollars may be referred to as microtasking or GPT (“get paid to”) platforms.

InboxDollars has a website plus mobile apps (for both iOS and Android devices).

How to get paid to Cash App

InboxDollars offers a couple of different cash withdrawal options—PayPal or virtual prepaid cards. A virtual prepaid card will usually be the easier option if you want Cash App credit, as you should be able to link the card with your Cash App account and transfer your InboxDollars earnings from the card to your Cash App.

If you withdraw via PayPal, the process will be a bit more fiddly if you don’t have a PayPal debit card, as previously described. In this case, use the two-step process we’ve already mentioned to move your earnings to Cash App (via a bank account you’ve linked to both digital wallets).

On the other hand, if you have a PayPal debit card, you can easily transfer your InboxDollars earnings directly from the debit card to your Cash App.

6. Swagbucks

Swagbucks is another microtasking or GPT platform from the same company that owns InboxDollars, as well as some other survey platforms on this list—namely, a company called Prodege.

Like InboxDollars, Swagbucks gives you a wide array of ways to earn, but surveys will usually be the most lucrative of these. The website claims that most online surveys on Swagbucks pay $0.25 to $5.00, but we found that most of the Swagbucks surveys we took simply disqualified us and gave us just a few cents’ worth of rewards per failed attempt.

Like InboxDollars (and MyPoints, which is another Prodege platform on this list), Swagbucks is available as a web-based version for internet browsers or as mobile apps for iOS and Android devices.

How to get paid to Cash App

Swagbucks has the same cash withdrawal options as InboxDollars: PayPal or virtual prepaid cards. Virtual prepaid cards will usually be easier if you want Cash App credit (as you should be able to link your virtual card to your Cash App account and transfer your earnings directly from the card to Cash App).

If you withdraw via PayPal, you’ll need to perform the two-step process we’ve already described to transfer your money to Cash App (via a bank account linked to both PayPal and Cash App). But, if you have a PayPal debit card, you can move the money directly from your PayPal card to your Cash App account.

7. MyPoints

MyPoints is the last Prodege platform on our list, and, again, features a variety of tasks in addition to surveys (e.g., offer signups, receipt-scanning, and online searches).

Like Swagbucks and InboxDollars, MyPoints has apps for mobile devices (including Android and iOS devices) as well as a normal website. Unlike Swagbucks and InboxDollars, it has a rather complicated points system that makes it difficult to track rewards.

How to get paid to Cash App

MyPoints has the same options for cash withdrawals as the other Prodege platforms, so you can use the same strategies to get Cash App credit. If you redeem your MyPoints earnings via a virtual prepaid card, link your card to your Cash App account to transfer your earnings directly from the card to Cash App.

If you opt for PayPal, use the two-step process we’ve already described to transfer your money to Cash App (via a bank account linked to both digital wallets) or, if you have a PayPal debit card, a direct transfer from your PayPal card to your Cash App account.

8. LifePoints

LifePoints is similar to Branded Surveys and Survey Junkie in that it’s more of a pure survey platform than a microtasking or GPT platform. It doesn’t feature a plethora of task types, but instead focuses mainly on surveys and polls (although there may also sometimes be prize draws and giveaways).

You can use the LifePoints website on your browser, or it’s also available as an app (for either Android or iOS devices).

How to get paid to Cash App

LifePoints allows you to redeem your earnings as cash via PayPal, plus another option we haven’t yet seen on this list—Venmo. For either of these options, you can use the two-step process we’ve already described to move your money from the respective digital wallet to your Cash App (via a bank account linked to both digital wallets involved in the transfer).

If you have a dedicated PayPal or Venmo debit card, you can link the respective card to your Cash App account and transfer your earnings to Cash App in one step.

9. Ipsos iSay

Ipsos iSay is another no-frills platform focusing on surveys. However, it also has rewards for friend referrals and, potentially, winning its weekly contests (although many of the prizes are likely to be gift cards and, as such, not transferable to Cash App).

You can use Ipsos iSay via the website or download mobile apps (for both iOS and Android devices).

How to get paid to Cash App

Ipsos iSay allows you to withdraw cash via PayPal or prepaid cards.

As usual, prepaid cards are usually the easier of these two options for getting Cash App account credit (which you can do by linking the card to Cash App and transferring your Ipsos iSay earnings directly from your card to your Cash App balance).

As usual, if you have a PayPal debit card, you can link this directly to your Cash App to transfer your earnings directly from the card to your Cash App wallet. Otherwise, you can transfer the money from your PayPal account to your Cash App using the two-step process we’ve already described (via a bank account linked to your PayPal and Cash App digital wallets).

10. Forthright

Forthright is one of our favorite survey platforms, as it’s simple and minimalist but has a fast and flexible system for withdrawals. We also found it to be among the most lucrative survey sites we tried, as it yielded a decent hourly rate when we used it.

Notably, Forthright’s own surveys pay better than the surveys from their partners featured on the site (where the best survey we took when we tested the site was a Forthright survey that paid $5 for about 20 minutes’ work). However, we found that Forthright’s own surveys were elusive, whereas their partner surveys were more frequently available.

One minor downside of the Forthright platform is that it only features a website, with no apps available for iOS or Android devices, so it’s less suitable for taking surveys on the go.

How to get paid to Cash App

Forthright allows you to withdraw your earnings via PayPal, in which case you can use the usual two-step process to move your earnings to Cash App (i.e., via a bank account you’ve linked to both your PayPal and Cash App wallets) or, if you have a PayPal debit card, transfer the money directly from your PayPal debit card to your Cash App.

The Forthright website also says you can redeem via bitcoin, but we couldn’t access this redemption option when we used the site ourselves.

11. Toluna Influencers

Toluna Influencers calls itself “a global community of millions of Influencers,” and is available in 50 countries. The platform includes a website for in-browser use and apps for both iOS and Android devices.

This platform has more variety than the likes of Forthright, Ipsos iSay, and Prime Opinion, as it features games, contests, and a few other ways to earn besides surveys and polls.

However, it also has downsides in terms of the relatively slow redemption speeds compared with many other platforms’, the relatively high $10 redemption threshold, and the limited variety of redemption methods.

How to get paid to Cash App

Toluna Influencers offers cash payouts only via PayPal.

If you opt for PayPal redemption, you can use the methods we’ve already described to transfer your Toluna Influencers earnings to Cash App (i.e., via a bank account you’ve linked to both your Cash App and PayPal accounts or by linking a dedicated PayPal debit card to your Cash App and transferring your earnings directly from your PayPal card to Cash App).

12. Opinion Outpost

Opinion Outpost focuses mainly on surveys, and doesn’t feature quick polls, games, or other tasks like those you can find on Toluna Influencers or Prodege’s microtasking and GPT platforms.

Like Forthright, Opinion Outpost has no apps for either Android or iOS devices. However, unlike Forthright, it doesn’t offer instant withdrawals. It also has a relatively high redemption threshold of $10 for cash withdrawals (although gift cards are available with just $5

How to get paid to Cash App

Opinion Outpost offers cash withdrawals only via PayPal. You can transfer your earnings from PayPal to Cash App as described above (i.e., via a bank account linked to both your Cash App and PayPal accounts or, if you have a dedicated PayPal debit card, by linking the card to your Cash App wallet to transfer your PayPal cash directly to Cash App).

13. YouGov

YouGov is a market research company based in the UK. However, it accepts signups from the US and many other countries around the world.

YouGov polls cover politics, public affairs, products, brands, and many other topics. You may also be able to earn bonus points by referring friends if YouGov provides you with a referral link.

YouGov has apps (for both Android and iOS devices) in addition to a website for use with internet browsers.

How to get paid to Cash App

There are various reports online about YouGov cash payment options, so these may depend on your location and possibly other factors. Withdrawal options may include:

• Bank transfers: If this is a withdrawal option, you can link the bank account to Cash App (if you haven’t already done so) and transfer your YouGov earnings directly from the bank account to Cash App.
• Virtual prepaid cards: If these are available (in the form of a Visa or Mastercard option), you can move your earnings to Cash App easily by linking the prepaid card to your Cash App wallet (if you haven’t already done so) and transferring your earnings from the card to your Cash App.
• PayPal: If this is a withdrawal option, you can link a bank account to both your PayPal and Cash App accounts (if you haven’t already done so) and transfer your YouGov earnings to your Cash App via the bank account. If you have a dedicated PayPal debit card, you can transfer your earnings directly from your PayPal card to Cash App in one step.

14. Qmee

Qmee is another UK-based platform that accepts US signups, and it’s also available as a website or dedicated apps (for both Android and iOS devices). Qmee claims to have paid members over $45 million for surveys to date.

In addition to surveys, Qmee has cashback offers as well as quizzes, games, search tasks, and sometimes other types of microtasks.

One of the major selling points for this platform is that it has no minimum threshold for cashing out, so you won’t have to wait long for your first Cash App rewards.

How to get paid to Cash App

You can withdraw Qmee earnings via PayPal or Venmo, which means you can transfer the money from the respective digital wallet to your Cash App via a bank account linked to both wallets involved in the transaction.

As usual, if you have a PayPal or Venmo debit card, you have the simpler alternative of transferring your Qmee earnings from the respective card to your Cash App, directly.

It’s not clear whether Qmee offers withdrawals via Visa or Mastercard prepaid cards. Some reports online claim that these are available, but Qmee’s Google Play Store blurb is unclear (stating, “We make it easy for you to get paid quickly with popular MasterCard and Visa gift cards to Amazon, Target, … ,” which may or may not be referring to prepaid cards).

If prepaid cards are indeed available, these are easy to use in the way we’ve already described for getting Cash App credit (by linking the prepaid card directly to your Cash App wallet).

15. Eureka Surveys

Eureka Surveys is a platform featuring surveys plus games and a few other small tasks. It comprises a website and apps for both iOS and Android mobile devices.

Eureka Surveys’ website and app download pages feature some fairly impressive claims, but these sometimes contradict one another, meaning it’s probably best to take them with a pinch of salt.

For example, the Eureka Surveys Google Play blurb claims that the platform has 4 million users who have earned over $24 million to date, whereas the App Store claims that users have earned $42 million to date.

The website claims that 48% of new members get paid with $5 sent to their PayPal within the first day of downloading. However, the app download pages claim that 80% of new members earn $5 within their first day using the platform.

Regardless, Eureka Surveys is probably a good option if you want to redeem sooner rather than later. When you sign up for the app, it starts you off with $1 for your first survey, and you then have just another $4 to earn before you can cash out (whereas a lot of platforms expect you to earn $10–$15 before you can do this).

How to get paid to Cash App

Eureka Surveys offers cash payouts via PayPal or direct transfers to your bank account. As usual, bank transfers will be a good bet (as you can easily transfer your Eureka Surveys earnings directly from your bank account to your Cash App by linking the two, if you haven’t already done so).

If you need to withdraw via PayPal, you can either use the two-step process we’ve already described (via a bank account linked to both PayPal and Cash App) or, if you have a dedicated PayPal debit card, link this to your Cash App and transfer your earnings directly.

You may also sometimes find prepaid cards among the gift card redemption options that Eureka Surveys offers. If these cards are available as a withdrawal option, you can easily use them to move your earnings to Cash App by linking your card to your Cash App and directly transferring money from the card to your digital wallet.

16. FeaturePoints

FeaturePoints has been around since 2012, so it’s a pretty well-established platform, and it claims to have paid out over $14 million to millions of users.

You can use it via a web version or mobile apps for both iOS and Android devices to get cash rewards for completing surveys, playing free games, and downloading apps.

How to get paid to Cash App

FeaturePoints says you can withdraw earnings as cash via Visa prepaid cards or PayPal.

You can then use one of the methods we’ve already described to transfer your earnings to your Cash App account (either by using a two-step process to transfer the money via a bank account linked to your Cash App and PayPal wallets or by directly linking your PayPal debit card or prepaid Visa card to your Cash App and then moving the money from the card to Cash App).

17. AttaPoll

AttaPoll is an app that you can use on Android and iOS devices to earn money with surveys and games. Unlike most of the other platforms on this list, it doesn’t have a website for in-browser use.

According to AttaPoll’s App Store listing, people who regularly use the app for surveys earn around $3 per week. AttaPoll also promises fast cashouts, as you only need $3 to get paid (via PayPal).

How to get paid to Cash App

PayPal will usually be the only option for redeeming AttaPoll rewards as cash.

If you withdraw via PayPal, as usual, you can transfer your earnings to your Cash App account by directly linking your PayPal debit card—if you have one—to your Cash App. If you don’t have a PayPal debit card, you can use the two-step process we’ve already described to move your money to Cash (via a bank account linked to both your PayPal and Cash App accounts).

18. Surveys on the Go

Surveys on the Go is another app promising cash rewards for surveys. This one has versions available for both iOS and Android mobile devices but no web-based version.

According to its app download pages, Surveys on the Go usually pays $1–$5 per survey, with some of the best-paying surveys offering rewards of $10 or even more if you qualify.

However, one potential downside of the platform is its relatively high minimum redemption threshold of $10. This means you’ll need to put in a bit of work before you can get any Cash App rewards.

How to get paid to Cash App

Surveys on the Go offers cash payments via the following methods:

• Virtual prepaid Visa: This will usually be the easiest way to get your earnings as Cash App credit, as you can link the prepaid card to your Cash App and transfer your Surveys on the Go earnings directly to your Cash App wallet.
• PayPal: If you have a PayPal debit card, you can link it to your Cash App (if you haven’t already done so) and transfer your earnings directly from your PayPal debit card to your Cash App. Alternatively, use the two-step process we’ve already described (via a bank account linked to both digital wallets).
• Venmo: If you have a Venmo debit card, you can link it to your Cash App (if you haven’t already done so) and transfer your earnings directly from your Venmo debit card to your Cash App. Alternatively, use the two-step process we’ve previously described (via a bank account linked to both digital wallets).

19. American Consumer Opinion

American Consumer Opinion is one of the most established platforms on our list, as it was originally created in early 1986 as a small mail survey panel. The website claims to have over 7 million members and to have paid out over $35 million to users over the years. 1

American Consumer Opinion has a website and an iOS app for iPhones or iPads (but no mobile app for Android devices). It may feature other opportunities in addition to surveys, such as product testing, in-person group discussions, or online discussion forums. However, you’ll likely have to wait for the platform to invite you for these types of opportunities.

American Consumer Opinion says it pays $1–$50 per survey or research project, depending on the time it takes.

How to get paid to Cash App

American Consumer Opinion usually offers cash payments via check, PayPal, or Hyperwallet. Hyperwallet is a payment platform (owned by PayPal) that allows withdrawals via many different methods, such as PayPal, bank transfers, prepaid cards, or Venmo.

Unfortunately, Cash App isn’t among the Hyperwallet withdrawal methods listed. However, the other withdrawal options make it quite convenient to move your earnings to Cash App. Bank transfers are likely to be the easiest method you can choose, as you can link your bank account to Cash App (if it isn’t already linked), and transfer the money from your bank to Cash App.

Alternatively, if you withdraw via PayPal or Venmo (with Hyperwallet), you can deploy the usual strategy to move money from your PayPal or Venmo account to your Cash App (either with a two-step process via a bank account you’ve linked to both digital wallets involved in the transaction or directly from your PayPal or Venmo debit card, if you have one, to Cash App).

A check withdrawal will usually be the slowest way to get money to your Cash App. If you opt for a check, you can put it in the bank and then transfer the money directly from your bank account to Cash App (linking the two accounts first if necessary).

20. Prolific

The Prolific platform is available only as a desktop website, with no apps for mobile devices. It’s a bit different from the other platforms on this list in that you have to wait to be invited for surveys via email (according to the studies that your profile matches).

However, Prolific also has more earning promise than many other platforms out there, as it vows to pay at least $8 per hour, which is a better rate than we earned when we tested many similar apps and websites. We can’t say for sure whether the platform lives up to its promise, but it’s potentially worth joining its waitlist to find out.

Prolific also has a minimum cashout amount of $6, which is relatively low, meaning that you should be able to get a payout within your first hour taking surveys, in theory. Many other platforms have thresholds of $10–$15 that you need to reach before you can cash out.

Prolific only pays out to your PayPal account (via Hyperwallet).

You can then use the same methods we’ve already described to move your earnings from PayPal to Cash App, either via a bank account linked to your PayPal and Cash App accounts (using a two-step process) or by linking a PayPal debit card (if you have one) to your Cash App account and transferring your money directly from PayPal to Cash App that way.

21. Scrambly

Scrambly is a microtasking or GPT platform featuring surveys, games, and a few other small tasks for earning. However, its surveys are a bit odd in that they’re only available once you’ve completed your Scrambly profile and made your first payout. This means you’ll have to play some games or complete other tasks before you can crack on with earning via surveys.

Another difference Scrambly has with most of the platforms on this list is that it only has a website plus a mobile app for Android users, with no app for iOS users.

Despite these downsides, Scrambly has the major selling points of a relatively low $1 minimum threshold for withdrawals and instant payouts. This means Scrambly is great if you want a survey platform that will pay pronto.

Scrambly makes it easy to get Cash App credit, as it offers the following cash payment methods:
