Description
Job Summary
As a PM/BA (Project Manager/Business Analyst) in the HR Transformation team, you will work with your stakeholders to understand issues they would like resolved or processes they want improved with the use of technology. In conjunction with Senior HR Product Manager, you will work with the stakeholders to define a functional design, work with developers on a technical design, test the developed solution, manage user acceptance testing, and help deploy the solution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Analysis:
· Provide timely and quality focused business analysis and project management to ensure success of project delivery across all HR functions.
· Work with stakeholders, IT and procurement to evaluate vendor solutions on their ability to solve the defined problem.
· Review existing operations and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered.
Stakeholder Management:
· Understand business needs and opportunities, including a good understanding of business risk.
· Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective project working relationships and to ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met.
Project Management:
· With client groups and senior HR leadership, follow a governance structure that ensures new requests are approved, prioritized, and budgeted.
· Manage work estimation and planning of analytical activities which may include team resourcing, project timeframes and scope of projects. Keep stakeholders posted on progress. Escalate key decisions and inform them of any major issues.
Issue Management:
· Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these.
· Use creativity to solve stakeholder requests, as well as proactively recommend improvements to increase process efficiency or reduce risk.
· Convert problem statements into Business Requirements (BRDs). Provide risk assessment and general information about impact on the business and downstream systems/procedures. Document “as is” and “to be” processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the “to be” capability to record accurately the change required.
Documentation:
· Produce business requirements documents, process flow diagrams and other related system design documentation.
· Participate in developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Participate in training new users on new processes/functionality.
· Responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.

Job Qualifications:
· Experience in user-acceptance testing including test script writing.
· Analytical skills with the ability to interpret business needs (document as business requirements), problem solve, and work independently in a fast-faced environment.
· Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five (5) years in HR Product Management / HR Business Analyst work.
· Functional experience covering Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, etc.
· Workday experience required.
· PeopleSoft HCM application (9.0, 9.1, 9.2) or other HR ERP a plus.
