Job Description:
The Workday Administrator will primarily focus on Workday’s HCM module and support Talent, Compensation, Time Tracking & Absence, Recruiting, and Learning. In addition, this role will be responsible for overseeing all current and future systems, projects and enhancements. Stay current on trends and developments within HR systems and technology, proactively providing ideas and information regarding best practices and trends.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Architect and lead projects with an advanced understanding of the Workday methodology and configuration knowledge.

Recommend process and support improvements, recommend innovative solutions, and/or variations from established policies.

Provide support for Workday, including researching and resolving complex problems, unexpected results, or process flaws. Provide recommended solutions to resolve issues and execute the solutions by configuring, testing, and deploying.

Works with leadership to build an execution plan which balances program priorities and capacity constraints.

Manage projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.

Drive Workday testing strategy by defining test scenarios and overseeing the process. Review, test, and assist with implementing Workday system upgrades; collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of an update or fix and document process and results.

Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports and calculated fields timely and accurately, ensuring the meeting of legal and compliance requirements.

Generate dashboards, reports, and queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of dashboards, reports, or queries utilizing appropriate tools.

Create, maintain, and update business processes, notifications, alerts, and validations/condition rules.

Monitor workflow and audit for accuracy, security, and efficient processing of requests.

Create, maintain and assign security.

Provide end-user support; troubleshoot issues via research, testing, the recreation of scenarios, and document findings.

Partner with third-party vendors for Workday support.

Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative.

Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights.

Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
Education/Qualification:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent)

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional human resources experience.

Minimum 5 years HRIS experience is required, Workday.

Advanced Excel skills.

Fluent in written and oral English language required.

Strong analytical skills.

Proven track record of broad and in-depth HR skills including a comprehensive analysis of complex situations, creative problem-solving and strong influencing abilities.

Ability to read/write technical documentation (requirements, configuration, process, etc.)

Ability to identify project plan tasks for complex projects, understand dependencies, and help deliver according to the plan.

Ability to identify risk and help develop mitigation strategies and plans.

Ability to understand complex processes and translate and implement them into streamlined solutions.
