Job Description:
What We're Looking For
K&L Wine Merchants is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Wine Club Coordinator to manage the end-to-end operations of our monthly Wine Club and Personal Sommelier Services. This role requires approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential to combine responsibilities in customer service, sales, buying, or operations to achieve a full-time (40-hour) schedule. The ideal candidate is a wine-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing multiple priorities. A passion for wine, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the calendar for all wine club-related tasks and fulfillment dates
- Generate and process monthly wine club orders
- Provide timely and professional customer service to wine club members; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
- Collaborate with the Fulfillment Center General Manager and Retail Operations Managers to coordinate product deliveries and perform inventory reconciliations
- Coordinatre with the procurement team in selecting wines for monthly features
- Communicate product details and delivery logistics with third-party shipping partners
- Write and oversee production of the monthly wine club newsletter in coordination with a third-party graphics vendor
Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-starter with strong time management and deadline-driven approach
- Deep understanding of logistics and product management
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Professional background in wine tasting and evaluation, with a strong understanding of quality, value, and typicity
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and operate standard warehouse equipment such as a hand truck
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency with Outlook, Office 365, Excel, shipping platforms, warehouse management systems, and handheld devices preferred
