Experience: 10+ years of client-facing, project management, and administrative leadership experience within operations, marketing, business development, finance, legal, and/or sales disciplines, Experience with AI tools, Expertise in Excel and other Microsoft tools, Experience with HubSpot CRM (preferred), Experience building internal and external presentations, Successful track record of collaborating and building relationships with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Job Description:
The Vice President, Sales Operations supports multiple business functions within the CivicScience Intelligence group to ensure efficient use of resources, effective stakeholder involvement, and overall achievement of desired business outcomes. The VP, SO works closely with senior leadership on sales, marketing, operations, training, customer success, finance, legal, and communications within various lines of business and across the entire organization. This person is the backbone of the Intelligence business, having responsibility for all aspects of its operations.
- Own CRM: Oversee and manage the CRM system, ensuring it aligns with business goals and optimizes sales and customer relationship management.
- Revenue Tracking/Reporting: Track and report on revenue performance, providing regular updates and insights to CCO, Board and colleagues.
- Forecasting: Lead revenue forecasting efforts, providing accurate predictions to inform business planning.
- Sales and Account Management Process Optimization: Enhance and streamline sales and account management processes for increased productivity and efficiency.
- Lead-Gen Implementation: Assist in developing and executing lead generation strategies to support business growth.
- Process Optimization/Strategy Execution: Identify opportunities for process improvements and execute strategies to optimize operations.
- Manage Cross-Functional Alignment & Communication: Ensure smooth communication and alignment between cross-functional teams including but not limited to Intelligence and Advertising personnel.
- Work with Legal & Finance to Facilitate Contract Execution & Financial Tracking: Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to support contract execution and financial tracking including board reporting.
- Admin Functions: Oversee administrative tasks related to day-to-day operations and business functions.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute reports on key performance metrics and operational activities.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Handle the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Operational Policies & Decisions: Support decision-making and the creation of operational policies to align with business objectives.
- Sales Training Assistance: Assist in the development and delivery of sales training programs to enhance team performance.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and manage business risks effectively working with designated stakeholders.
- Coordination of Pricing Components: Coordinate the pricing strategy and ensure consistency across pricing components.
