Job Description:
John Marshall Bank has an immediate opening for a Treasury & Digital Banking Specialist.
In this role you will:
- Assist with managing treasury & digital banking services and, credit card relationships with current and potential business accounts.
- Lead ongoing projects as the digital solutions expert, drives development of these services, and create an integrated experience.
- Demonstrate the ability and commitment to strengthen business client relationships by creating a unique and individual customer experience.
- Partner and collaborate with the Sales team to execute a strategy based on client needs that leads to increased client engagement, expansion of deposit services and client satisfaction.
- Provide sales expertise, product knowledge and customer on-boarding support for treasury & digital services to all size commercial customers.
- Understand the technologies and integration options that are available and recommend the best option to meet client needs and the Bank’s initiatives.
- Train business clients on online banking platform and services, such as ACH, Wires, Positive Pay, etc.
- Communicate clearly to customers, the features and functionality of products and services Including pricing and account analysis.
- Install and provide training to business clients with Remote Deposit Scanners.
- Stay current on treasury products and services to customers including business account analysis, business checking, merchant services, purchasing and credit cards, business loans and lines of credit and referrals of personal bank products when appropriate.
- Train the Bank’s sales staff on all treasury products and services.
- Attend sales calls with the sales team as requested, assisting with customizing and personalizing customer portfolios through a solid understanding of each customer’s personal and corporate banking preferences.
- Prepare account analysis pro-forma reports for current clients/prospects for sales team.
- Assist in preparation of RFP’s.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints, follow up on referrals in person, by telephone or by letter and may assist in telemarketing and solicitation campaigns to foster new business.
- Serve as the main point of contact for bank’s credit card services provider (ServisFirst).
- Enroll bank in all ServisFirst credit card promotions, management of ServisFirst marketing supplies, revenue reports and dispute resolution.
- Act as a back up to the Treasury Services Support group.
- Participate in networking events on a monthly basis
- Actively self source new deposit and loan relationships for the Bank
- Lead implementation and coordination efforts for upgrades, and new products and services.
- Maintain accurate reporting of all treasury and digital services including implementation, utilization, waivers and cost analysis.
- Travel to customer locations to assist with product equipment installations and customer-related product training needs.
- Participate in all bank promotions, present a professional appearance and behavior at all times, and participate actively in community organizations.
- Participate in networking events on a monthly basis
- Reflect favorably on the bank’s image in all internal and external interactions
Requirements
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3-5 years of experience in same or related field
- Excellent analytical and project management skills. Ability to gather and organize non-complex data from multiple sources for accurate reporting, Ability to prioritize and complete multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Ability to research and compile information for the purpose of leading digital experience strategies and client facing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret financial documents and to write moderately complex reports and correspondence, to speak effectively with customers and/or employees.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite and ability to learn other programs or software as needed
- Proven customer service and communication skills
