Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and compassionate physicians to join our dynamic telemedicine team. As a telemedicine Physician, you will provide remote medical consultations and care to patients using an easy-to-use telemedicine platform. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Qualify patients for remote patient monitoring
- Assist in creating/monitoring treatment/care plans for patients
- Conduct virtual consultations with patients, assessing their medical needs and providing appropriate treatment recommendations.
- Provide patient-centered care with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) to document patient interactions and medical histories.
- Educate patients on health management and preventative care practices.
- Stay current with medical guidelines, protocols, and advancements in telemedicine.
- Utilize telemedicine video technology effectively to ensure clear communication and patient engagement during appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with telemedicine practices and advancements in medical technology.
What You’ll Bring
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with active medical license(s)
- MINIMUM OF 7-10 active state licenses from the following: (one of which must include FL) AL, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA
- A minimum of TWO years' experience as a practicing physician required
- Must have a current DEA
- Experience with telemedicine platforms is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Other information:
- This is a 1099, contract position
- Minimum of 10 hours of availability per week
- Hours of availability should be between 9a-5p EST, Monday-Friday
- Compensation: $35/consult; $20/no-show
