Job Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Wavicle is hiring a Technical Writer who can assist our client with developing technical support documents and user training guides on new and existing projects.
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO
- Write and edit technical and procedural documents including user guides.
- Collaborate with the Salesforce team business and IT teams to write documentation for specific products and processes.
- Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
- Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise, and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.
- Creates/recommends templates and follows company's best practices and style guides.
- Responsible for setting up document structure and its easy to maintain. Recommendations of using Atlassian product called Confluence vs. SharePoint or other applications.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or relevant degree is required.
- 5+ years of technical writing experience as an effective technical writer.
- Healthcare or related industry experience (e.g., insurance, pharma) is highly desirable.
- Must have experience with software and data domains for documentation; preferably product documentation.
- Experience with structuring a library of documents so information can easily be categorized and found by various users.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to present complex data in clear, concise manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and understand complex subject matter.
- Must be located in USA for client access and have availability across Eastern or Central time zone working hours (i.e., between 8a and 5p in either time zone)
