About the job you’re considering
We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Data Migration Lead to join our dynamic team.
Your role
- Data Migration Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive migration strategies and plans to transition data from legacy PLM systems to Teamcenter.
- System Analysis: Analyze existing PLM systems to understand data structures, workflows, and dependencies, ensuring all critical data is accurately migrated.
- Data Mapping and Transformation: Define and implement data mapping and transformation rules to ensure compatibility and integrity during migration.
- Project Management: Manage migration projects, including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessment, and progress tracking.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, engineering, and business teams to align migration efforts with organizational goals and requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and validation to confirm data accuracy and completeness post-migration.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, methodologies, and outcomes for future reference and audit purposes.
- User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on Teamcenter functionalities and data management.
Your skills and experience
- 12 years of overall experience and 6-8 years of experience with Teamcenter data migration projects is required
- Experience in developing Teamcenter data migration utilities
- Defining data migration strategy
- Experience with Teamcenter data migration/site consolidation effort with mapping translation
- Experience in creating data migration plan, mapping specification document and migration project schedule
- Hands on experience in developing scripts to convert source files into TCXML format for import into Teamcenter
