Summary:
The Senior Vice President of Sales will lead and expand VSP Vision's sales teams while driving growth strategies in the eyewear and optics market. Candidates must have extensive experience in global sales, team leadership, and data-driven sales strategy development.

Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
Experience: 10+ years’ experience with clear progression to senior leadership/management roles, leading and motivating, cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals, Global sales experience in EMEA, APAC, LATAM and NA through a robust structure of subsidiaries, distributors, and direct sales, preferably in the areas of fashion and/or consumer packaged goods (CPG), Experience working with merchandising/brand leaders and supply chain leaders in the areas of demand planning and assortment planning
Job Description:
The Senior Vice President of Sales will provide strategic and operational leadership to the sales teams, driving growth and market expansion both in the US and internationally. Will be fully accountable for all sales and business development activities focusing on eyewear and optics. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and managing the overall sales operations. Will work closely with senior management to align sales objectives with the company’s business goals, identify new market opportunities, and foster a high-performance sales culture.
Provide strategic and operational direction to the company’s sales team functions supporting and executing on an ambitious growth plan for the company’s eyewear products, lens products, and practice management/health record software.
Drive revenue growth and market expansion through innovative strategies and effective execution.
Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies for the Global Sales Organization (GSO) that align with the company’s overall business goals.
Ensure accountability for sales performance, EBITDA, and market share growth.
Analyze global market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Foster a customer-oriented culture, ensuring exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.
Work closely with senior leadership to align commercial strategies.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including new markets and channels.
Strategize, develop, and execute sales objectives including sales volume, cost of sales, margin, product profitability, etc.
Continuously improve methodologies, strategies, technologies, etc. to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of our talent pipelines, onboarding/training programs, goals/accountabilities, compensation/recognition, structures and sales processes, go-to-market plan, and career development/succession planning.
Work closely with marketing, product development, and other areas of the business to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Manage the sales budget, including forecasting, allocation, and monitoring of expenses.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, partners, and internal teams.
