About the Role

Oracle Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• We are looking to hire a talented Oracle Database Administrator to manage large enterprise Oracle database system.
• The candidate should be conversant with Oracle database installation, patch up upgrade, storage structure, backup and recovery policy.
• Planning and scheduling maintenance activities and executing the same across enterprise level.
• User creation, defining backup policy, creating and maintaining stored procedures and other database objects.
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users and DBA team.
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
• Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity.
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
• As needed, implement approved database configurations / corrections to mitigate points database performance / connectivity due to planned or unplanned incidents.
• Regularly maintain database security policies.
• Automate database jobs and increase efficiency of the system.
• Identifying RCA for specific incidents.
• Perform performance analysis and tuning of database.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c database administration.
• Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, UNIX/Linux, Netbackup.

Desirable Skills

• MySQL, DB2.

Education Qualification

8-10Yrs.

Location

Bengaluru (WFH across India).
