Job Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Keebo, you will be instrumental in designing and developing scalable systems for our Warehouse Optimization team. From day one, you’ll drive critical, customer-driven solutions that directly impact our business and shape the technical landscape of Keebo. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative features that meet real business needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to mentor engineers, promote engineering best practices, and continuously refine processes that drive system performance and resilience.

You Will
- Innovate with purpose: Solve real-world, customer-focused problems, from optimizing SQL queries to building resilient, scalable systems.
- Own your craft: Take charge of key parts of the codebase and influence decisions that impact the broader technical landscape.

- Elevate the team: Share your knowledge, mentor fellow engineers, and advocate for best practices in testing, deployment, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with our product team to turn customer needs into innovative, impactful solutions that drive our platform forward.
You Have
- Experience building scalable and reliable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing data modeling for use by customer-facing applications
- Experience in backend development with a passion for building robust, high-performance systems
- Strong architectural design skills, with a focus on creating scalable and resilient systems
- Experience with databases, with a deep understanding of SQL and large datasets
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, modern CI/CD pipelines, and big data tools
- Desire to work at a startup, and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you can wear multiple hats
- Able to troubleshoot and solve challenging problems, even in unfamiliar territory
- Skilled in partnering with product teams to deeply understand customer needs and translate them into features that delight users
- Experience leading complex technical projects involving multiple engineers, driving them from concept to successful delivery
- A collaborative mindset—you're proactive in sharing knowledge and raising the technical bar for the whole team
Bonus Points
- Experience with Angular
- Hands-on experience with CDW platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or DataBricks
- Experience with machine learning, algorithm development, or SQL optimization
