What You'll Do
As the Global Senior. Program Manager, Employee Experience & Inclusion, you will help strengthen Avalara’s ability to grow top talent by promoting an environment where all employees can do their best work. You will design and implement globally relevant programs that enhance inclusion, equity, and belonging, helping Avalara’s teams collaborate and maximize growth.
The Global Senior Program Manager, Employee Experience & Inclusion will report to the VP, Global People Partners and Inclusion and can be remote in the United States.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Develop and implement globally relevant programs that strengthen Avalara’s ability to shape top talent by ensuring all employees can contribute and grow.
- Partner with senior leadership and teams to embed inclusive, talent practices into policies and programs,.
- Work with talent management, people partners, COEs, and leaders to ensure talent practices are performance-driven
- Support regional needs and challenges by ensuring inclusion efforts are aligned with local priorities and contribute to Avalara’s global success.
- Enhance collaboration across global teams by ensuring employees have opportunities to build cultural competence, understand diverse perspectives, and work across regions.
- Support and guide employee communities in promoting a culture of collaboration, engagement, and learning, ensuring all employees feel empowered to contribute to Avalara’s success.
- You will partner on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects in collaboration with the ESG owner, ensuring understanding of Avalara’s values and promoting Avalara’s commitment to being a great place to work.
- Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of inclusion and employee experience programs, ensuring Avalara improves team performance, retention, and engagement.
What You'll Need to be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in global program management focused on talent practices, employee engagement, and employee experience.
- Experience designing and implementing globally relevant programs that support a growing and inclusive workplace.
- Experience engaging with and influencing senior leaders. .
- Experience as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) or working with HRBPs.
- You can track and interpret data to improve programs and outcomes.
- Experience working with employee communities and promoting global employee engagement.
- Familiarity with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and ESG frameworks.

Pay Range Details
The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Colorado $97,400-$155,800 (annually)
Washington $97,400-$172,000 (annually)
California $97,400-$186,100(annually)
NYC $117,800-188,600 (annually)
The pay range above is the general base pay range for you in the state listed. Your actual salary/wage may be based on several factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and your role.
