Your Work Matters

As the Senior Product Manager – Point of Sale (POS), you’ll lead the systems that power every in-store transaction—bringing together technology, store operations, and customer experience. From defining feature roadmaps to stabilizing live systems, your work will drive how Floor & Decor shows up for millions of customers across the country. This role puts you at the center of real-world retail impact.

Your Day Consists Of

• Partnering with store operators and technical teams to evolve the POS platform that supports over 250+ locations.
• Leading sprint ceremonies and refining backlog priorities based on business needs, technical realities, and long-term goals.
• Driving quarterly roadmap planning for in-store technologies, ensuring a balance of innovation, stability, and usability.
• Acting as the voice of the store: translating business challenges into clear, actionable user stories for the engineering team.
• Approving development work by ensuring stories meet functional requirements, usability expectations, and operational integrity.
• Leading meetings with senior leaders to align on roadmap priorities and investment decisions.

You’ll Be Successful With

• 4+ years of product management experience, with a strong preference for candidates with direct POS and/or retail technology background.
• Experience working across Agile teams; skilled in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and cross-functional leadership.
• A track record of reducing technical debt while delivering new features at scale.
• Strong communication skills—you translate complex system needs into business terms and vice versa.
• Experience working in environments like FIS, NCR, or large-format retailers (e.g., Home Depot, Target, Lowe’s).
• A hands-on, highly organized mindset—you own what you ship and prioritize what keeps stores running.

Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)

• The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
