Job Description:
Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Information Security Analyst with an active Top Secret security clearnace to perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems and assets for federal client. This position will be located in Arlington, VA and will be a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Works Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs).
- Provides Subject Matter Expertise for disaster recovery (DR) contingency plans (ISCP).
- Writes expert IT Security assessments that feed the accreditation (and renewal) for assigned systems.
- Assists with creating, updating, tracking, and closing of Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) for assigned systems, and develops security guidelines and processes for new and existing networks as needed.
- Provides IT Security analysis by reviewing relevant System Change Requests (SCR), reviewing vulnerability scan reports and work with technical SMEs to develop and track plans to remediate findings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's with 8+ years IT security (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Clearance Required: Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability
- CompTIA Security+ CE
