Job Description:
Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Information Assurance Engineer to support our client’s SA&A contract needs. This position will fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to remediate system vulnerabilities and close identified Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
- Lead efforts to Update security documentation for BIES systems needed to obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO)
- Lead efforts to work with project teams to collect evidence and remediate findings
- Lead efforts to work with Information Assurance Engineers to access system security posture and remediate vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's with 8+ years of information assurance experience (or commensurate experience)
- 5+ years of experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
- IA baseline certification required
- Expert proficiency with assessing, documenting, and remediating cyber security vulnerabilities
- Clearance required: An active Top Secret clearance with ability to maintain a SCI clearance
