Job Description:
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Compiles data and completes analysis related to net revenue calculations, third party cost reports and audits and various other reimbursement projects.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordination and filing of third party cost reports
2. Calculation and recording of monthly net revenues using contractual models
3. Assessing reimbursement impacts of changes in regulations and/or contracts
4. Prepare reconciliations and work papers of balance sheet accounts for financial audits
5. Respond to third party audit requests
6. Maintain knowledge on reimbursement regulations
7. Analyze third party settlements and correspondence
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Master's Degree, preferred.
- Three to five (3-5) years of reimbursement experience including preparation, audit or review of hospital cost reports.
- General knowledge of third party reimbursement mechanisms.
- Strong Analytical reasoning and problem solving skills are highly preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Access and Excel.
