About the Role
As our Sr. Director of Operations, you’re stepping into more than just another job. You're driving the ops engine to transform education for the 100,000 students we’ve served up to today and the millions we'll serve in the future. Your Immediate Impact
- Lead the strategic integration and normalization of data across CRM, Marketing Automation, Support, and Product platforms—achieving real-time, clean, actionable data (CRM normalization, custom objects like "family" records, automated workflows).
- Establish a robust forecasting and business intelligence capability providing real-time visibility into applicant journeys, enrollment funnels, and behavioral cohorts/segments from initial engagement through renewal.
- Execute flawless quarterly business reviews, annual company kickoffs, and regular OKR and KPI tracking rituals, ensuring clarity and alignment across the entire business.
Success Metrics
- Create clear annual operating models, forecasting and BI that empowers all business divisions to understand and act on trends affecting ARR growth, family enrollment, net retention, and gross retention.
- Automate operational workflows to significantly enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cross-functional visibility.
- Deliver consistently reliable insights enabling agility and proactive, data-driven decisions.
Who You Are
- High Agency Leader: You seize responsibility. You're inspired by taking initiative, driving clarity, and creating alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Data Obsessed: Deeply proficient with operational tech stacks (HubSpot, CDPs, ETLs, SQL, BI platforms). You see data clarity and integration as foundational—not optional.
- Operational Expert: Experience scaling businesses ($30M-$100M ARR), with proven excellence in operational planning, financial modeling, funnel management, and performance tracking.
- Cross-functional: Proven ability to unify marketing, customer success, partnerships, product, finance, and learning teams around shared operational frameworks and metrics.
- Systems Thinker: Passionate about operational excellence through systems, automation, and integrations—innovating intelligently, not reinventing unnecessarily.
- Exceptional Communicator: Your insights, dashboards, and operational plans don't inform—they inspire action.
This Role Will Excite You IF:
- You crave meaningful work with real societal and business impact. The company here is not another product—it’s an earnest responsibility.
- You thrive in intensity, fast-paced growth, and a culture of continuous, visible learning.
- You want autonomy with accountability, always open to mentorship and eager to apply best practices.
Team & Autonomy:
You'll inherit a highly capable Operations Manager (who is also acting Chief of Staff), immediately stepping into operational P&L responsibilities alongside our COO. Over time, you will expand your team strategically to support continued growth and operational excellence.
Reporting Line

Company Benefits:
- Competitive salary and 401k plan + company matching opportunities.
- Comprehensive Health Benefits: Health insurance package including medical, dental, vision, life, critical illness, accident, STD/LTD, HSA, and FSA with dependent care.
- Flexible Work Arrangement: We’re a fully remote workforce that emphasizes a healthy work-life balance by allowing some autonomy in work hours.
- Generous Paid Time Off policy, enabling you to recharge, spend quality time with loved ones, and pursue personal interests outside of work.
