Job Description:
Our Senior Director, Global Infrastructure Operations will play a key role in enterprise technology operations, supporting global IT service delivery, infrastructure modernization, and operational resilience. This leadership position is ideal for a strategic and hands-on professional who excels in optimizing systems, leading high-performing teams, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals. The role involves overseeing global infrastructure, including helpdesk services, end-user computing, and back-office systems, while driving continuous improvement and secure, scalable operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor a global team of infrastructure professionals to deliver high-quality IT services.
- Define and execute a global infrastructure roadmap aligned with business strategy and priorities.
- Oversee 24x7 global helpdesk operations to ensure strong service levels and user satisfaction.
- Manage end-user computing environments, including provisioning, lifecycle management, and support.
- Ensure uptime, scalability, and performance across back-office systems and enterprise platforms.
- Maintain and optimize vendor and partner relationships for infrastructure and support services.
- Lead infrastructure security efforts, including endpoint protection, identity and access management, and data loss prevention.
- Drive modernization initiatives such as cloud migration and infrastructure automation.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture standards across systems, networks, and cloud environments.
- Present performance metrics, risks, and key initiatives to executive leadership in a clear, data-driven manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department/company.
What You’ll Need:
- Candidates within commuting distance to New York City or Los Angeles (El Segundo) are strongly preferred due to occasional in-person leadership and collaboration needs.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing global infrastructure and support functions in a 24x7 environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365, Azure, endpoint management, and device lifecycle operations.
- Experience leading helpdesk operations and driving service improvement initiatives.
- Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and infrastructure security practices.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and working cross-functionally with InfoSec and audit teams.
- Excellent customer service orientation and ability to manage stakeholder expectations at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret operational dashboards and KPIs.
- Demonstrated success presenting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
