Job Description:
Senior Analyst, Deal Desk
The Senior Deal Desk Analyst will play a critical role in shaping and supporting the early-stage implementation of our Deal Desk function. This individual will serve as a central point of coordination for complex sales opportunities, ensuring deals move efficiently through internal review and approval processes. By managing the administrative and operational aspects of deals, this role will enable the sales team to focus on selling while driving consistency, speed, and compliance across cross-functional stakeholders.
What You’ll Do

Act as the primary point of contact for managing opportunities as they progress through the sales cycle and deal approval process.

Coordinate and facilitate reviews across multiple functions (e.g., Legal, Finance, Product, Operations) to ensure timely approvals.

Track and monitor deal status, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks to maintain deal velocity.

Prepare, organize, and maintain deal documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.

Collaborate with sales to gather key deal information and provide guidance on the deal approval process.

Assist with the development and improvement of workflows, templates, and tools to streamline the deal process.

Support the development of reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into deal pipeline, cycle times, and metrics.

Contribute feedback and insights to help shape the future structure, policy, and scalability of the Deal Desk.
What You’ll Bring to Zelis

2 – 3 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales or Revenue Operations, Finance, or similar analytical roles.

Understanding of sales cycles, deal structures, and cross-functional collaboration in a B2B environment.

Proven ability to manage complex processes with multiple stakeholders.

Excellent organizational and project management skills — ability to juggle multiple deals and deadlines at once.

Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.

Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce), CPQ (SFDC Revenue Cloud preferred) and collaboration tools.
