Position Summary
Wellesley’s admission process is based on a thorough, detailed, and holistic evaluation of each candidate for admission.
The seasonal reader will work in partnership with the admission counselors in reviewing the applications of candidates for admission. The team based reading process involves analyzing credentials, reviewing recommendations, personal essays, and other application documents, providing a summary evaluation and decision recommendation for each applicant, and participating in Admission Committee reviews.
We cannot consider candidates for this position who are a) parents, guardians or siblings of a high school senior, regardless of whether she plans to apply to Wellesley; b) independent college consultants who charge a fee to any students applying or planning to apply to Wellesley; c) employees or regular volunteers of any other undergraduate institution.
