Job Description:
The Sales Account Executive will sell private label and blank apparel programs to affinity brands, music companies, and promotional companies where a value-added service can be applied to our inline blank apparel. This role is responsible for selling complete custom garments where we can utilize inline fabrics. The Sales Account Executive will develop business, retain, and service clients in their specified geographic region.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; respond to all inquiries, requests, and resolve any issues that may arise post-sale in a timely and professional manner.
- Serve as liaison between client companies and operations staff.
- Understand and communicate information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to new and existing clients.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Apparel industry product information.
- Collaborate with other departments on developing pricing and promotions.
- Gather information on local competition and prevalent industry and business climate within the region; communicates information to management and others as needed.
- Negotiate contracts and work agreements.
- Ensure all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship issues.
- Collaborate with operations team, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
- Participate on business/trade events that impact business unit.
- Participate in team strategic sales meetings.
- Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement.
- Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
