Pizza Wholesale of Lexington is seeking ambitious, hard-working individuals for our Route Delivery / Area Assistant position in Springfield, MO. Known to us as Area Assistants, these individuals have the opportunity to interact with our valued customer partners by providing exceptional service from our warehouse by helping grow sales through regular promotions and developing positive relationships. Candidates applying for this position must have a clean MVR, be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card for a minimum of one year, and live within 60 minutes of the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this opportunity include but are not limited to:

• Training store employees as required.
• Cleaning up after you leave a store.
• Assisting the Account Manager in the unloading of product.
• Taking ownership of each customer you service.
• Assisting in the installation of new accounts.
• Servicing customers at the District Manager's discretion.
• Traveling to other districts to assist in running routes.
• Learning to bake pizzas and make presentations.
• Checking voice mail and email during business hours.
• Resolving problems within your abilities.
• Completing paperwork required in the timeframe established.
• Attending training courses as needed.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• If necessary, making bank deposits.
• Supporting and implementing all company decisions.
• Some overnight travel is required.

Qualifications:

Position Qualifications:

• High School diploma.
• Demonstrated customer service ability.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Professional image and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Licenses required: DOT Medical Card.
• Valid operator's license with safe driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and bend up to 60% of daily work hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to drive a 26,000 lb. GVW truck.
• Must be able to step up into the back of the truck.
• Must be able to deliver product by hand truck.

This position requires exceptional service and the ability to travel between districts. Some overnight travel is required.
