Summary
The lab is hiring a part-time research technician who can work on the project funded by NIH STTR Phase I grant. This position focuses on developing cancer assays that leverages a new optical technology we have developed. The role offers training in cutting-edge techniques such as 2P microscopy, 3D co-culture assays, and single-cell screening, with additional opportunities to engage in biotech startup activities and grant writing. Ideal for individual interested in translational and interdisciplinary research. The position is part-time. The position is for 14 hours per week.
Job Duties
- Develops and refines co-culture assays.
- Conducts fluorescence microscopy.
- Develops and applies new labeling tools.
- Isolates cells via FACS.
- Conducts RNA sequencing and gene expression analysis.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- No experience required.
