Professional Services Consultant - Modern Workplace

Job Description:

Provides professional services delivery as related to infrastructure consulting, design, implementation, configuration and knowledge transfer to Logicalis clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs implementations of overall solutions for clients, including development of solution designs, implementation plans and documentation.

• Satisfies client technology services and solution requirements using best practices to:

• Design

• Provide Knowledge Transfer

• Troubleshoot

• Support

• Works directly with client to gather requirements, design solutions, build proof of concepts and implementations solutions.

• Delivers consultative-based knowledge transfer and documentation to Logicalis’ clients.

• Works with RMO and PMO in scheduling and managing engagements.

• Works with Logicalis’ clients to perform assessments, health checks, performance tests, and capacity planning.

• Responsible for product evaluation, process improvement, and practice refinement activities on occasion.

• Establishes relationships with clients by demonstrating strong listening skills.

• Builds credibility and trust by delivering what has been promised within established timeframes.

• Maintains focus on client satisfaction and expectation management.

• Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.

• Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.

• Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

Education/Experience//Technical Requirements/Certifications

Equivalent Combination accepted.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Experience / Technical Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Microsoft technologies including infrastructure migrations, troubleshooting, implementation with strong experience in the following areas:

  • Microsoft Teams

  • Microsoft Teams Meeting Rooms

  • Knowledge around Teams Voice and Direct Routing

  • Microsoft to legacy PBX Integrations

  • Enterprise Mobility + Security

    • Microsoft Endpoint Manager

      • Intune and Config Manager

    • Azure Active Directory Premium (P1/P2)

    • Azure Information Protection

    • Azure Threat Protection

  • Exchange Migrations (On-premises to M365)

    • Exchange 2010 and higher, Hybrid Exchange

  • Microsoft 365, specifically Exchange Online, Skype for Business, OneDrive, SharePoint

  • Active Directory - experience with upgrades and migrations, advanced experience with GPOs, experience with AAD Connect and ADFS

  • Scripting skills including Powershell

  • Advanced experience in using Excel

  • Strong DNS/DHCP understanding

• 2 years of consulting experience focused on Microsoft solutions.

• Additional experience in one or more of the following:

  • Azure –IaaS, PaaS

  • Leveraging tools like OpenAI.

  • Migration tools including Quest Migration Manager and MigrationWiz

  • Load balancer technologies

  • Copilot skills and experience building agents.

• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications.

Certifications

One or more of the following:

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administration

• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCSA)

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

Other Skills and Abilities

Salary Compensation Range: $90,300-$122,000 plus bonus
