Job Description:
The Artnet Price Database is the most complete, illustrated archive of international Fine Art, Design, and Decorative Art auction results. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in team collaboration, auction research, project management as well as the potential to increase one’s knowledge of Artnet products and market trends.
You will be working remotely and communicating daily with the Price Database team based in New York, London and Berlin. You have the option to work a hybrid schedule with our Berlin and London offices, but this is not required. We welcome applicants located anywhere in the US, UK and Germany. Students located outside these countries do not qualify for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Copy edit auction information in the Artnet Price Database Fine Art and Artnet Price Database Decorative Art
- Assist team with projects related to archive clean-up
- Research artists in order to update our artist index and associated data
- Research new auction markets and updating us on current auction trends
- Monitor auction houses to help identify any gaps in auction coverage
- Meet weekly with Price Database team supervisor
