Job Description:
The Process Expert will work with the current sales (MidWest and Ohio Valley FES) and Appleton team in order to expand the business of FES products of the Product and Services business. The individual will focus on the full system customers and to free up the RSM’s from routine service to strategically grow the business, specifically wear parts including repair. They will also be used in key white spot customers to leverage their process and mechanical knowledge to continue to secure and expand the business in the territory. Using the strong technical expertise of an experienced process expert will continue to ensure Voith loyal customer’s equipment performs at highest level and also show white spot customers unfamiliar with Voith equipment our technological expertise and superior offering over the competition.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- 100% compliance with all safety polices, Voith policies, and customer standards and expectations.
- Provide regular level 1 (unpaid) service support to full system customers to secure Voith business.
- Support higher level paid services including audits and commissioning start-ups as needed.
- Utilize technical expertise to continue to lock down and grow business at key Voith accounts, with primary focus on wear parts including repairs.
- Leverage technical expertise to support Voith footprint into white spot mills as needed.
- With the help of Regional Sales Managers, develop relationships with key mill personnel.
- Participate and work with customer team members during customer service visits, outage jobs/work, and equipment start-ups at customer mill site.
- Attend sales conferences and internal meetings as required.
- Support inventory management of key Voith consumable items at make/hold mills.
- Provide technical information to Application Engineering team to provide valuable feedback of real world performance of Voith equipment and competitor equipment.

Job Requirements:
- 4-year college degree in business, operations, engineering or completed trade school discipline
- Must live in North territory – preferably in reasonable traveling distance to Appleton
- Ability to travel 50-80% of time on a weekly basis
- 3-5 years’ experience working as a supplier a to paper mills or as an employee at a paper mill
- Job may require some weekend or holiday work and or travel.
Physical Requirements:
Employees in this position are regularly required to walk, stand, and use hands to finger, handle or feel. They are frequently required to reach with hands and arms. They are occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear and regularly required to lift 10 pounds and occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds. Safety glasses, hearing protection and other PPE are required in designated areas.
