The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Architect to join our dynamic team on a W2 basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Power BI development, data modeling, and analytics strategy. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality BI solutions that provide actionable insights and drive business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Power BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models to meet user requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and transform them into technical specifications.
• Optimize data ingestion processes and performance of Power BI reports for maximum efficiency.
• Establish best practices for Power BI usage, governance, and security within the organization.
• Train and support end-users in utilizing Power BI for their analytics needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Architect or in a similar role with a focus on data visualization and reporting.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database management.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service functionality.
• Experience with SQL and data modeling tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to Haves:

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate.
• Familiarity with Azure data services and other BI tools.
• Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Previous experience in a consulting role or working with external clients.
