Compensation Range:
Anticipated compensation range of $37.80 - $37.80 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, performs all assigned tasks and services related to medication distribution in an accurate, timely and safe manner. Maintains current California Pharmacy Technician Registration. This position may require flexibility of hours.
EDUCATION:
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Diploma or transcripts on highest degree earned required.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. For Anticoagulation Dept: Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an acute care hospital, preferred. CPhT issued by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Registered Pharmacy Technician License issued by California State Board of Pharmacy.
Preferred:
CPhT issued by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
SKILLS:
Aseptic Technique, Chemotherapy Compounding Certification, Competency in specialized equipment (Automated Dispensing and Cadet Unit Dosing Machines). Knowledge of Pharmacy Laws and Regulations.
