The Patient Transporter will facilitate patient movement within the healthcare facility on weekends. Candidates should have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and healthcare experience preferred.
Requirements:
Credentials: High School Diploma/GED, Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
Experience: 1 year Healthcare Preferred
Job Description:
The Transporter coordinates with doctors, nurses and other medical professionals to take patients from various locations, such as emergency room, imaging, scans, surgery, inpatient bed, other diagnostic tests or procedures, and discharge of patients. The Transporter may help patients in and out of bed, or use wheelchairs and stretchers to get patients to identified locations.
