The Patient Transporter is responsible for the timely transport of patients within the healthcare facility and assisting staff in patient care. Applicants should have a high school diploma, current BLS certification, and preferably have experience in a hospital setting.

Job Description
At NorthBay Health the Patient Transporter under the supervision of the Radiology, provide timely, and efficient general transport of patients between nursing units and the department of Diagnostic Imaging. Assist nursing or imaging staff in preparing patients for examinations and assists staff in discharging patients.

Qualifications
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Licensure: Current AHA or equitant BLS card.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting is favorable. Excellent emotional intelligence and communication. Reliable time-management and punctuality
- Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills including legible handwriting, demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to courteously interact with the public and co-workers, and presents self in a professional manner

Compensation:
Hourly Salary Range Min $23.49 - $28.64 (MAX is commensurate of 20+ years of experience as a Patient Transport or equivalent , Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
