We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny & Driver in Hillside, NJ (07205)
A warm and dynamic family in Hillside, NJ is seeking a reliable, experienced nanny to provide full-day infant care one day per week and transportation help for their teenager during the summer and school year. This role is ideal for a nurturing, proactive caregiver who can confidently manage multiple responsibilities and offer consistent, high-quality care.
- Start Date: July
- End Date: Ongoing
- Rate: $30–$35 per hour
- Number of children: 2 (9-month-old and 12-year-old)
- Location: Hillside, NJ (07205), near Union and easily accessible from Route 22
Responsibilities
Infant Care (Monday or Tuesdays, 8am–5pm)
- Provide full-day care for a 9-month-old
- Bottle feeding, introducing solids, changing, bathing
- Light housekeeping related to infant care
- Flexible Schedule (Occasionally)
- Care is needed typically on Tuesdays. The family may need to switch to another weekday due to holidays or changes in work schedule.
Transportation Duties
- Drive 12-year-old home from camp (summer) and school
- Monday–Friday, 2:00pm pickup
- 10-minute drive (07025 to Hillside); must have own vehicle
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of paid professional childcare experience
- Current CPR certification or willing to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable with pets (6 in the home; all remain outside—no pet care required)
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Experience with infants
Compensation + Benefits
This position pays $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience. The family is looking for:
- Monday or Tuesdays (8am–5pm) for full-day infant care
- Monday–Friday 2pm pickup and drop-off for their 12-year-old son
