Nature of Position
The City of Alameda is looking for applicants interested in performing a variety of part-time, maintenance work across various city departments including Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and Mastick Senior Center. In general, the most frequent part-time help we are looking for are in the following areas:
- Building and Facility Maintenance (responding to basic facility maintenance requests, basic electrical repairs, changing lights, and other minor building repairs)
- Park Maintenance (picking up trash, emptying trash cans, cleaning park bathrooms and recreation facilities, conducting light weeding)
- Janitorial and Custodial Work (cleaning bathrooms and other city facilities, emptying trash)
SELECTION PROCESS:
