Job Description:
Part-Time Admin Assistant to the Director of Cash & Carry Stores
Love a checklist? Thrive in organized chaos? Want a job that fits your schedule?
We’re on the hunt for a Rockstar Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our Director of Cash & Carry Stores. You’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps Mondays and Tuesdays running smoothly—leaving the rest of the week wide open for you.
This role is tailor-made for someone who’s highly organized, a great communicator, and not afraid of spreadsheets (or AS400—but don’t worry, we’ll teach you that part). Whether you’re a retired admin legend, a student with a killer calendar, or just someone who wants to work smarter (not longer)—we want to hear from you!
Why You’ll Love It:
- You’ll only work two days a week. Just enough to stay in the game, not enough to take over your life.
- A consistent Monday-Tuesday schedule, with some flexibility with your shift start time.
- Sick time accrual.
- Access to a 401(k) with a 4% company match.
- We also offer an Amazing Employee Discount Program at our Company-owned Grocery Stores!!!!
- You’ll be the right-hand human to the Director. Your job? Make sure their week kicks off smoothly so the Director can focus on growing stores, supporting associates, and crushing goals.
- You’ll get to do a little of everything. Admin support, research, light retail analytics, scheduling.
What You’ll Be Doing (Weekly):
- Review and clean up the calendar from last week; reschedule meetings and make sure nothing’s slipping through the cracks.
- Respond to customer and vendor emails and phone calls (don’t worry—we like nice people).
- Enter sales promos and item setups in AS400.
- Handle pricing tweaks and competitive comparisons.
- Schedule meetings with vendors and customers.
- Organize invoices, submit work orders, track expenses.
- Generate reports on sales and store performance.
- Help manage associate requests like uniforms and maintenance needs.
- Do some market sleuthing to help us find new customers.
- Log and organize sales call info for easy follow-up.
What You’ll Tackle (Monthly):
- Work with the Director to build and adjust the 3-month promotion and sales call calendar.
- Help load new promo pricing and chase down rebate opportunities.
- Boost associate engagement by helping track and support in-store promotions.
- Review and plan customer engagement calls.
- Recap what’s working, and help us plan what’s next.
You’ll be great at this if you:
- Are reliable, detail-obsessed, and great at juggling tasks.
- Love a good to-do list (and checking it off).
- Are tech-comfy—Microsoft Office and email are second nature; AS400 is a bonus but not required.
- Communicate like a pro—friendly, clear, and professional.
- Like knowing what’s happening, organizing it, and making it better.
