Thomann Asphalt Paving Corp, a respected leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant to support daily operations and keep our office running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative tasks, helping others, and being part of a supportive, hardworking team.
You will also interact with all levels of the organization and various customers and clients. The ideal candidate will support the office staff part-time during our peak season, June through August.
Essential Functions
- Greet visitors and answer phone calls professionally
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and basic office errands
- Support the Accounting team with invoicing needs, document preparations
- Keep an inventory of office supplies, and keep the inventory organized
- Maintain files
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to sit; rarely required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Must be able to climb and descend a flight of stairs as needed.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, approximately 20-30 hours per week (Monday through Friday).
Travel
This position requires no regular and customary travel.
