Job Description:
The Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development, College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University invites applications for one part-time Visiting Lecturer of PK-12 Educational Leadership and Policy, (non-tenure) position with a 4-month appointment beginning Fall 2025. Applicants will be considered for the Visiting Lecturer position depending on qualifications and expertise in Educational Administration.
Essential Function/Expectation: The successful candidate will be expected to teach EDAD 638.700 and 638.701, Developing School Community Partnerships.
Additional Responsibilities/Expectations: In addition to the teaching responsibilities of a three-credit hour class, the visiting lecturer will be expected to identify and prepare course materials, provide a course syllabus, assess student work and assign grades, be available to meet with students on matters that arise within the course, and comply with the deadlines established by the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Associate Registrar.
The Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development (EAHR) develops educational leaders and improves practice through teaching, research and service in the areas of public-school administration, human resource development, higher education administration, adult education and student affairs administration. Statewide and nationally, EAHR graduates, faculty and staff play major roles in the education of children and adults.
