Mortgage Loan Closer

Job Description:

Will consider remote or hybrid employment from the following states: MN, SD, IA, MO, AR, WI, or FL.  Pay Range: $40,000 - $60,000.  Responsible for post-closing functions of real estate mortgages and to assist in the growth, customer service and profitability of the bank by providing administrative support to Real Estate Lending Staff.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities (95%):  

• Funds all secondary market and portfolio mortgage loans in compliance with funding procedures.  
• Scan mortgage loan documents.  
• Track and request final documents. 
• Prepare loan closing packages. 
• Fulfill audit requests from investors, auditors, 3rd party reviews. 
• Prepare closed loan to be booked on our servicing systems. 
• Ship mortgage loans to investors 
• Clear conditions for investor loan purchases 
• Post-closing file reviews 
• Other miscellaneous tasks related to real estate post-closing.  

Secondary Duties & Responsibilities (5%):  

• Responsible for performing professional and accurate service.  
• Attends committee assignments and staff meetings as scheduled. 
• Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations applicable to this position. 
• Participates in all required BSA training and demonstrates knowledge of BSA relative to job responsibilities. 
• Responsible for security as it applies to this position. Performs other tasks as assigned. 
• Provides knowledgeable back-up service for all other real estate positions.
