Experience: Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the mortgage industry or financial services sector., Knowledge of mortgage origination and servicing platforms (e.g., MeridianLink Mortgage, Encompass, Calyx Point)., Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes (wholesale, retail, correspondent), compliance and regulations (e.g., CFPB, RESPA, TRID), and general industry standards.

Job Description:
As a Business Systems Analyst at Newfi Lending, you will play a crucial role in our organization's operations and technology initiatives. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between our business objectives and technology capabilities, ensuring that our systems and processes effectively support our strategic goals and regulatory requirements. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a knack for “pulling up their sleeves” and getting the job done, while still respecting the collaborative nature of Newfi’s internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current and proposed business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- System Design and Implementation:
- Understand and propose solutions that align with business goals and technological capabilities.
- Work closely with development team members to ensure solutions are implemented effectively and meet business requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system design, configurations, and integrations.
- Disclosure and Legal Document Compliance:
- Maintain federal and state mortgage disclosures/documents and understand related regulatory and compliance standards.
- Project Management and Coordination:
- Manage projects related to system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate activities across multiple teams and departments to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project objectives.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users on system functionalities and best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to troubleshoot issues and address system-related inquiries.
