We currently have a career opportunity for a Microsoft Cloud Security - Solutions Architect to join our team in a remote, US-based position.

Job Overview: 
 

The Solutions Architect role is a technical senior leadership position with the skills and experience to lead our largest, most strategic engagements while also serving as a key participant in the pursuit cycles that include security solutions.  This individual will lead customer facing engagements with cross functional team members to create solution designs and oversee global implementations.  

You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs.  You will challenge your leading-edge solutions, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive customer security transformation on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Platforms.
• Lead strategic engagements and sales pursuits involving security solutions.
• Oversee security solution designs and global implementations with cross-functional teams.
• Operate and optimize complex, high-impact situations for strategic customers/partners.
• Identify, communicate, and manage risks to ensure excellent delivery.
• Identify delivery gaps and prioritize efforts.
• Create and implement enterprise-scale security designs.
• Stay up to date on emerging cloud security technologies and market trends.
• Ability to understand customer needs, assess their current data protection posture, and propose tailored information protection architectures utilizing Microsoft solutions. 
• Proficiently designing and implementing data classification, labeling, access controls, encryption, and data governance policies within the Microsoft Information Protection framework. 
• Demonstrate deep industry knowledge and drive opportunities for Microsoft solutions.

As a delivery resource you should have experience:

• Effectively driving a project team in operating and optimizing complex and high-impact situations for strategic customers/partners in collaboration with stakeholders. 
• Anticipating and managing risks by identifying, communicating, and minimizing those risks while ensuring excellence in the design and delivery of solutions.
• Proactively identifying gaps through delivery, communicating those gaps to others, and leveraging experience to prioritize efforts. 
• Creating enterprise-scale designs and executing the rollout of those designs
• Learning new cloud security technologies and understanding relevant cloud security market trends.
• Demonstrating deep industry knowledge and drives opportunities for Microsoft solutions through presentations and contracts. 

Qualifications

Preferred skills and education:

• 8+ years experience in Microsoft Security workloads.
• 5+ years of success in consultative/complex technical security sales and deployment projects, design, and implementation.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in designing and implementation of Microsoft EntraID, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Identity Governance, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Protection, Microsoft Purview, and related security concepts.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

 The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $130,000- $178,090. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
