Job Description:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and media-savvy Media Intern to support our Media Planning & Buying team. This paid internship is ideal for someone interested in how ads reach audiences, how media strategies are built, and how multicultural insights shape campaign execution.
You’ll play a key role in conducting research, supporting day-to-day campaign tasks, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. It’s a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of media in a fast-paced agency environment while gaining exposure to multicultural and general market campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on media platforms, audience demographics, market trends, and consumption habits
• Assist in compiling campaign reports and analyzing performance data
• Support the team in developing media plans and presentation decks
• Monitor campaign delivery and flag any discrepancies or issues
• Help gather specs, rates, and timelines from media partners
• Organize and maintain campaign files, calendars, and media schedules
• Support internal documentation and assist with vendor coordination and communications
• Join team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas and cultural insights
• Provide general admin and coordination support to the Media team as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in media, advertising, or marketing
• Proactive and comfortable with both creative ideas and detailed tasks
• Familiar with digital and social platforms like Google, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok
• Interest in traditional media such as TV, OOH, and radio is a plus
• Bonus if you’re aware of or curious about multicultural and ethnic media
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with tools like Google Sheets, Canva, or dashboards is a plus
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to learn, adapt, and support the team in a collaborative environment
