UPMC Corporate Finance is seeking a visionary Manager, Pharmacy 340B (Revenue Integrity) to lead the charge in optimizing our 340B program and driving innovation across pharmacy operations. What You’ll Do:
As the Manager of Pharmacy Revenue Integrity, you will be the architect and steward of UPMC’s 340B program strategy. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing innovative solutions to provide operational accountability, management and process development of the 340B program.
Responsibilities:
· Optimize and expand Pharmacy Revenue Integrity Program by driving execution of foundation principles of revenue integrity within system physician practices as well as hospital billing/revenue cycle.
· Maintain the content of pharmacy-related billing systems, ensuring high integrity patient charging and compliance with billing rules and regulations.
· Collaborate with corporate revenue cycle to reduce the number of denials for medication related charges by optimizing the medication billing system and operations.
· Educate stakeholders on the principles of pharmacy revenue integrity
· Share best practice with service lines by presenting formal / informal education on medication charging and documentation in EHR.
· Generate innovative ideas which are strategically sound and challenge the status quo.
· Assist in the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of system-wide pharmacy programs.
· Interface with internal and external clients to ensure optimal performance of all pharmacy services across UPMC.
· Effectively manage large project teams and/or high-priority effectors to achieve high-quality results.
· Define alternative/compromise solutions that address others' fundamental concerns and impacts on long-term relationships and systematically convey pros and cons of alternative solutions and achieve consensus on direction/approach.
· Manage and develop employees to successfully achieve Pharmacy Services Line goals.
· Represent pharmacy in committees overseeing strategic initiatives impacting system-wide pharmacy services.
· Develop, champion, and implement programs and procedures to assure effective and efficient use of pharmacy resources.
· Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
:
- Bachelor of Science and 5 years of hospital pharmacy operations and/or 340B contract pharmacy experience required (including minimum three years of experience in operations, purchasing/procurement, pharmacy billing/information systems) OR
- Certified Pharmacy Technician and 7 years of hospital pharmacy operations and/or 340B contract pharmacy experience required (including minimum three years of experience in operations, purchasing/procurement, pharmacy billing/information systems)
- Master's degree in Business/Management or Hospital Pharmacy Administration or related field preferred.
- Strong management, problem solving, organizational and communication skills are required.
- Ability to perform planning for large initiatives/projects, overseeing all tasks required to provide services to meet client and business needs within budget and targeted deadlines.
- Strategic planning skills required.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to influence others.
