The Manager of Clinical Informatics reports directly to the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO) and oversees a team of clinical informatics professionals. The Manager ensures that the CNIO can offer strategic direction for Clinical Informatics programs in coordination with IT Executive Leadership, Patient Care Services Executive Team, and Quality and Performance Improvement Leaders, among others. They will lead the team, promoting engagement through regular meetings and ongoing feedback.

- Process Improvement: Identify business process inefficiencies and propose improvements through system modifications and process redesign. Implement technology-driven process changes that drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Technology Strategy: Define and implement enterprise architecture frameworks, technology standards, and governance processes to support long-term business goals. Communicate effectively across technical and business teams to ensure alignment on system architecture and strategy.
- Project Management: Lead teams that manage small, medium, and large-scale projects. including planning, execution, and evaluation of technology and business process solutions. Ability to act as a project manager for small to medium scale projects.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Act as a liaison between technical and business teams, providing regular reports on system performance, system issues, and overall project progress to senior leadership.
- Leadership: Manage and supervise a diverse team of technical professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals.

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

- Problem solving skills to review data for trends and identify areas of improvement whether it be for cost savings, improved compliance, or clinician/patient satisfaction.
- Level of responsibility is to manage a team of technical professionals and drive them toward prescribed results while meeting current service level agreements.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required to work with operational management to determine strategic direction, identify pain points, or to suggest technology solutions to improve workflows/results.
