Job Description:
Summary:
The ASPCA, America's oldest and most respected animal welfare organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated professional to serve as Manager, Canvass, in its Traditional Fundraising department. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the face-to-face program and participates in the strategy and development of this acquisition channel.
The Manager will serve as the point person for canvassing partners, handle campaign reporting and monitoring, manage the quality control program, supervise implementation of new tests and on-boarding of additional partners as needed, and escalate issues when appropriate. Additionally, this role will work closely with other members of the Traditional Fundraising department to help develop cross-channel strategies to better acquire and retain donors.

The target hiring range is based on where the employee works, which for remote roles is the employee’s primary location of residence, and its respective cost of labor. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role. The target hiring range is for new hire offers only, and compensation may increase beyond the maximum hiring range based on performance over time. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. The expected hiring salary ranges for this role are set forth below and may be modified in the future.
Zone 1: $61,000 - $66,000
Zone 2: $68,000 - $73,000
Zone 3: $74,000 - $80,000

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manage ASPCA Acquisition Operations (70%)

Serve as the main contact for canvass partners and internal team members for day-to-day inquiries

Manage canvassing efforts, including supporting onboarding potential new partners, test implementation and setup

Reconcile and approve all partner invoicing
-
Manage training development and implementation across all partners
-
Lead training workshops both in the field and virtually

Collaborate with Member Communications to develop and maintain messaging and training materials, and collateral utilized by partners across all markets

Create and manage training schedule for all partners, across all markets
-
Manage Market and Site map/list
-
Manage Quality Assurance program (Secret Shopping, maintain complaint doc)

Collaborate with other development teams, including member services, web and operations teams, on projects and processes impacting the acquisition and processing of donations via Canvassing
Manage ASPCA Canvassing Performance (15%)

Collaborate with the Traditional fundraising team to implement and improve our cross-channel strategies for acquiring and retaining donors

Provide performance reporting

Assure quality of data imported into donor database, identify notable errors, patterns or trends in donation processing and propose and implement solutions
Special Projects (15%)

Support cross-functional work on compliance and learning & development

Other special projects as needed

Collaborate with other teams on acquisition and retention efforts across other offline channels

Support retention efforts of current canvass donors
