Job Description:
SWBC is seeking a talented individual to coordinate the Loan Officer’s work activities to ensure efficient loan processing. This role will assist in the administration, review and processing of mortgage loans ensuring completeness and accuracy of required documents and applications. This role tracks and monitors the status of each file in the Loan Officer Database and updates Loan Officer, borrowers and builders accordingly.

Essential duties include the following:
- Organizes and tracks all active loans as directed by the assigned Loan Officer.
- Monitors the status of each file and ensures accurate and efficient processing through closing to include guideline research.
- Meets with clients, as necessary, to take borrower applications and pre-qualifies applicants and presents and reviews date with Loan Officer.
- Completes and reviews required forms with borrowers; collects necessary documentation and appropriate fees; and submits to the automated underwriting system.
- Reviews and assists in the evaluation of information pertinent to client's application and makes recommendations.
- Reviews files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Answers, screens, and directs calls for individual Loan Officer to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Maintains Loan Officer Database and coordinates loan submissions to processing and closing.
- Assists with pricing and rate locks.
- Updates Loan Officer on pipeline status and updates borrowers and builders on status of loan.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum of three (3) years of coordinating and processing mortgage loans while providing a high-level of customer service, or other related experience.
- Applicable State and National licenses (NMLS and SAFE Act Compliant).
- Working knowledge of mortgage loans and/or loan procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent telephone etiquette skills.
- Able to operate personal computers to include MS Word, Excel and Internet.
- Able to work under sometimes stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Able to provide a high level of customer service to customers and realtors.
- Able to type at least 60 WPM accurately.
- Able to sit for long periods of time gathering, updating, and validating mortgage loan applications.
- Able to lift 10-20 lbs. of loan papers, files, and other documents.
- Able to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
Compensation:
At SWBC, our pay structure is based upon the market data for each role and we have established compensation ranges to ensure that we remain competitive. Any offer of employment is based upon individual experience, market data, and geographic location for each role. This role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation in the form of either commission or performance bonus.
The base salary range for this position is:
$34,632.00 - $69,264.00
