Program Overview and Benefits: Republic Airways is excited to offer our LIFT Academy flight students an opportunity to see an inside look at our operation.
Essential Duties
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Education and/ or Experience
- Current flight student at LIFT Academy with at least 6 months remaining in their training
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group
- Skilled in Microsoft Office
- Proficient communication and presentation skills
- Flexible and willing to help other team members or LIFT/Republic staff as projects or operational needs arise
- Be committed to working in a Republic Airways department for a minimum of 6 months
Other Qualifications
- Active and enrolled student at LIFT Academy
- Must have completed first course at LIFT Academy successfully
- Ability to work onsite at our Indianapolis Headquarter location, unless otherwise directed by hiring manager
- Willing to assist with onsite events
- Ability to work up to 12-20 hours per week
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Professionalism/ Customer Service
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during each shift. Ability to be customer service oriented as needed.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Reasoning/ Problem Solving Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to read and interpret technical, regulatory, and contractual documentation. Able to maintain confidentiality.
Decision Making
Makes day-to-day decisions used to support strategic direction. Decisions often require some thought without established precedents or procedures. Decisions tend to be short term and usually of moderate cost. Able to work independently or as part of a team to drive results.
