Job Summary

The Infra. Technology Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure using Splunk ITSI. With a hybrid work model and day shifts the specialist will ensure seamless operations and contribute to the companys technological advancements. This role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management with a focus on Splunk ITSI.

Responsibilities

· Manage and optimize IT infrastructure using Splunk ITSI to ensure seamless operations and performance.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.

· Develop and implement monitoring solutions to proactively detect and address potential system failures.

· Provide technical expertise in Splunk ITSI to enhance system capabilities and performance.

· Analyze system performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in IT infrastructure management.

· Support the integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure to enhance capabilities.

· Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and security.

· Document infrastructure processes and procedures for consistency and efficiency.

· Train and mentor junior team members on Splunk ITSI and infrastructure management best practices.

· Participate in strategic planning to align IT infrastructure with business goals.

· Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

· Contribute to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Qualifications

· · Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management with a focus on Splunk ITSI.

· Demonstrate strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex infrastructure issues.

· Exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Show proficiency in developing and implementing monitoring solutions using Splunk ITSI.

· Have a solid understanding of industry standards and best practices in IT infrastructure management.

· Display the ability to train and mentor junior team members effectively.

· Demonstrate experience in strategic planning and aligning IT infrastructure with business objectives.

Certifications Required

Splunk Certified IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) Administrator

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
