Grow your career as ​​Notifications Specialist ​within ALG Vacations. As a member of this team, you will inform and assist customers across all ALG Vacations brands impacted by service interruptions related to hotel stays, tour, transfers, and Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flights. Communicating directly with direct customers and travel agents through inbound/outbound calls and emails.

Essential Functions: 

• ​​Send and respond to emails via Power Automate.​
• ​​Answer calls via InContact for Client Notification Skill.​
• ​​Utilize RezAgent to view, modify reservations and send confirmations based on customer’s needs.​
• ​​Run and format hotel, feature, and air rooming lists to use in Power Automate.​
• ​​Inform Supervisor of escalated customer issues.​
• ​​Work with other departments to resolve any issues when required.​
• ​​Utilize Microsoft Teams, Expert, and other tools for communication, policies, and problem solving. ​
• ​​Meet established metrics​.
• ​​Collaborate with our suppliers to inquire or confirm alternate relocation options when required​.
• ​​Track and update customer/supplier responses via Power Automate​.
• Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

Qualifications:

• ​​High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• At least one-year related experience​.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with internal reservations system (RezAgent).
• Strong understanding of customer service.
• Ability to problem solve, actively listen, express empathy, and forecast customer needs.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Detailed oriented.
• Strong judgement and decision-making skills.
• Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.

The salary range for this position is $19.75-$22.00 per hour.

The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
