Job Description:
The Jaggers Restaurant Recruiter is responsible for overseeing the recruitment for our growing Jaggers restaurant chain. The role of this position involves collaborating with Jaggers leadership, and restaurant management, to staff the company-owned restaurants throughout the United States. They will work with restaurant leadership to meet hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. The ideal candidate for this position would live in Indianapolis, Indiana area, but frequent travel would be required to the restaurants that have a high concentration in Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina and Texas. Hours will vary to include some nights and weekends, especially around new store openings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Work with the Jaggers Market Partner to plan the needs of a growing restaurant concept
- Partner with restaurant managers to understand business needs, and their local community, to develop and implement recruitment strategies
- Utilize various platforms to source potential candidates
- Work with the marketing team to develop recruitment material and campaigns
- Source, evaluate and interview candidates for management and hourly positions, identify top candidates, make hiring recommendations and offers
- Stay up to date with industry trends
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from initial contact through the onboarding process
- Train store managers on proper interviewing skills and the recruitment process
- Partner with leadership team on new store openings
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate information to include the scheduling of interviews in the stores
- Develop metrics to measure hires, retention, recruitment sources, etc.
- Participation in leadership meetings to understand operational needs
- Understanding and application of labor laws

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, hospitality or related field preferred, high school diploma or GED required. Extensive experience as a manager in a restaurant with responsibilities in staffing the restaurant may be substituted for education.
- Minimum of 5 years of restaurant industry experience to include two years at the restaurant management level with responsibilities in staffing and recruitment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
