Pay Rate: $97-107 per hour
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Computer Science or related field)
Role Purpose:
The IT SAP Developer will have hands-on knowledge of SAP MDG and/or MDG Specific ABAP technologies with respect to MDG-C / MDG-S / MDG-M / MDG Consolidation. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to other SAP applications developments such as CDS Views and ODATA.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate as a team member on successful projects, demonstrating strong business process knowledge in data migration, governance, and development.
-
Work independently with minimal mentorship, reporting to team leads while applying skills to solve day-to-day business problems.
-
Contribute to various project phases, including discovery, solution generation, design, and process detailing.
-
Identify and resolve complex technical issues while adhering to customer service-level agreements (SLAs).
-
Translate business user functional requirements into technical objects following best practices.
-
Handle high-pressure situations such as system downtime and collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
-
Conduct working sessions with business users to gather and clarify requirements.
-
Assist the Basis team during troubleshooting and provide guidance as needed.
-
Research and apply OSS notes to resolve issues as required.
-
Become proficient in using ServiceNow, our ticketing system, for tracking and managing tasks.
-
Take on break/fix activities and project work in collaboration with the operations team.
-
Participate in an on-call rotation supporting the team and organization.
-
Adhere to SLA commitments and established coding guidelines.

Analyze software requirements to assess design feasibility.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (preferred) or related field, or Associate's degree with 7-10+ years of relevant experience.

At least 5-7 years of experience in SAP.

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) and S/4 Implementation.

Hands-on experience with SAP MDG configuration for Master Data objects, MDG workflows, Governance models, and BRF+ Rules.

Expertise in SAP Development (ABAP, Fiori, SAP MDG, Workflow, SOA services, BADI’s / OO ABAP).

Experience writing SAP MDG BPD, FSD, and TSDs for RICEFW objects, and configuring MDG WRICEF objects.
-
At least two SAP HANA capability implementations or migrations in a lead role.

Strong collaboration and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
-
Familiarity with functional areas like SAP MM, SD, FI from a master data perspective.

Experience with HANA Smart Data Quality and MDG Consolidation processes.
-
Knowledge of Cutover activities, E2E integration testing, and Replication models.
-
Experience configuring and extending MDG workflows to automate data validation, approvals, and change management processes using SAP Business Workflow or SAP Workflow Management.

Experience in troubleshooting data discrepancies, configuring, programming, debugging, and testing the MDG application.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills.
Desired Skills:

Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
-
Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, CHARM, and Focused Build for Release Management.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $97.00 to $107.00/hour. Salary offers are based on factors such as relevant skills, training, experience, education, market conditions, and certifications. A competitive benefits package is also offered.
