Summary:
The IT Project Manager II position manages all phases of medium to high complexity IT projects to support OHSU's objectives. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in IT project management.

Department Overview
The mission of the Information Technology Group (ITG) is to develop, implement and maintain technology-based services and solutions enabling OHSU to effectively manage information to accomplish its missions.
Function/Duties of Position
The IT Project Manager II position is responsible for managing all phases of medium to low-end high complexity IT projects and reports to Denice Asbell, Executive Director HC IT Implementation Services, in the Strategic Healthcare Projects work unit. Primary responsibilities include strategizing, planning, organizing, managing, and tracking multiple assigned IT projects through their full lifecycle in support of OHSU’s objectives or mission. IT PM II will use industry standard Project Management methodologies and standard OHSU project management processes.
This position works independently with discretion over when and how work is conducted. Work direction is only provided for new areas of work or unique assignments.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience:
- 5 years’ experience within information technology environment
- 4 years project management experience
- High-level experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Hybrid, etc.)
